Answer: Your scar will depend on the extent and complexity of the injury. If there the tendon rupture/laceration is associated with fractures, the repair maybe more extensive and the scar will be larger. If possible, incisions are made along natural creases and planes to hide the incision after healing for aesthetic purposes.
